HHH Green Award Winners
We are proud to announce that Star Linen has won the Green Award at the 2026 Triple H Awards - The Hotel Housekeeping Honours.
The award recognises the work we are doing to make hospitality textiles more responsible, practical and circular. For us, sustainability is not a separate project or a one-off campaign. It is part of how we source products, support customers, manage our operations and plan for the future.
A sustainability journey with accountability
Star Linen is a B Corp certified and carbon neutral supplier of bed linen, towelling, bedding and room accessories to hotels, accommodation providers, serviced apartments and universities.
Over the past four years, we have built a more structured sustainability strategy through our Star Way framework and the B Corp assessment. This has helped us put environmental and social responsibility at the centre of major decisions, from product development and logistics to people, partnerships and community impact.
Our B Corp certification, carbon neutral status and EcoVadis Gold rating provide independent accountability. They help ensure that our progress is evidence led, continually reviewed and focused on meaningful improvement.
Creating circular solutions
For hospitality businesses, managing end of first life linen, bedding and sleep products can be a significant operational and environmental challenge. That is why we have developed practical circular options that customers can incorporate into their everyday operations.
Better products, lower impact
We believe sustainability should not mean compromising on comfort, quality or performance.
Our Ashton and Clevedon duvet and pillow ranges use post-consumer recycled PET bottles to create high performance bedding suited to hospitality use. In 2025 alone, these ranges helped save around 460,000 plastic bottles from landfill or the ocean.
We have also increased the proportion of our duvet and pillow ranges manufactured in the UK to more than 60%. This supports greater supply chain transparency, helps reduce transport-related emissions and strengthens local manufacturing.
Supporting hospitality customers
Sustainability needs to work in real hotel environments. Housekeeping teams need clear disposal routes; procurement teams need products that meet quality, availability and budget requirements; and sustainability teams need credible data they can use with confidence.
Our circular services are designed to make the process straightforward. Dedicated bags, collection arrangements and traceable processing make it easier to manage old bedding and textiles as part of normal replacement cycles, without creating unnecessary storage, labour or disposal challenges.
For customers, this also creates useful reporting and communications opportunities. We can help hotels communicate the outcomes of their recycling activity through tailored case studies, infographics and verified data that can support ESG reports, tenders, websites, social media and guest-facing communications.
As environmental expectations continue to grow among guests, corporate buyers and investors, reliable supplier information matters. Hotels need to know that the sustainability story behind their bedding and linen is supported by evidence, not simply a claim.
Looking ahead
Our mission is simple: to help the world sleep better and more comfortably, while respecting planetary boundaries and supporting the communities we serve.
Winning the HHH Green Award is a valued recognition of the progress made so far. More importantly, it motivates us to continue: reducing emissions, expanding circular services, increasing preferred and recycled materials and working closely with customers to make hospitality textiles more sustainable.
Thank you to the Triple H Awards for this honour and to our team, customers, suppliers and partners who make this work possible every day.
