Frequently asked questions

How does thread count affect the feel of the duvet covers?

Thread Count refers to the number of threads woven into one square inch of fabric . It includes both horizontal (weft) and vertical (warp) threads.  Higher thread counts (300 plus) often results in a softer feel as there are more threads per square inch. This creates a smoother surface that feels luxurious and silky to touch . Lower thread count duvet covers with a lower count (below 200) might feel crisper and less soft, however they can still be comfortable and often more breathable  making them suitable for warmer weather.

Are there hypoallergenic options for hotel duvet covers?

When choosing hypoallergenic bed linen the goal  is to reduce the presence of allergens like dust mites , mould and other irritants. Choosing natural fibres such as cotton is a great choice for hotels as it is breathable and naturally resistant to dust mites. Look for certifications on products OEXO-TEX 100 ensures fabric is free from  harmful chemicals.

What are the most durable duvet covers you have for hotels?

Polycotton bed linen is known for its durability making it popular with busy establishments such as hotels and holiday parks.  The Polyester fibres are strong and resistant to tearing and abrasion. Polycotton is also less prone to shrinking in the wash and maintains its shape better over time.
